I’m a proud Barkindji woman with strong connections to Canberra and the Ngunnawal community, where I grew up and now live, work, and raise my family. I have always been passionate about supporting people and creating safe spaces where mob feel heard, respected, and empowered.
My passion for justice and advocacy comes from both lived experience and my professional background working in wellbeing and community support. As a mum with a large family, I understand firsthand how hard it can be to navigate services and systems while trying to support your family and community. Those experiences have helped shape the way I work with people, with empathy, understanding, and without judgement. I’m strongly committed to supporting my people, especially women and young people, through empowerment, self-determination, and culturally safe support.
I am excited to begin this journey with Sisters in Spirit and look forward to the possibilities ahead, supporting our women, strengthening community, and growing together. Working in community and advocating for people has always been something close to my heart, and I feel privileged to now be doing this work alongside strong Aboriginal women.
